Marketing Director Baltics (m/f)for international supplier of building material in Riga / Latvia

For its expanding operations in the Baltics with currently around 15 Mio Euros in sales, and strong growth targets, the company is now hiring a Marketing Director (m/f) based in its subsidiary in Riga, Latvia.
In this highly visible position with focus on both B2B and B2C (DIY) markets, you will be in charge of the complete and comprehensive marketing activities in the region, including pricing, distribution and product management for Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
As such, this versatile and challenging position will include:
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive regional product and pricing strategy in cooperation with Sales both locally and at Headquarters;
• Building both brand, customer awareness and loyalty through a sustainable and cost effective marketing mix and related customer relationship management;
• Market research, benchmarking and continuous competitor analysis;
• Developing and executing trade shows, campaigns, and event plans, dealer management and incentivization programs;
• Developing local brand and segment concepts in line with corporate brand strategies and guidelines;
• Managing a team of currently 6 people successfully.
While creative and hands-on marketing and communication form an integral part of this position, this function is expected to strongly impact sales and business development in the region through its strategic focus and through prior analysis.
In order to succeed in this exciting position you should have a technical or commercial education with a track record of marketing and business development along different distribution channels ideally in the building, DIY or construction industry (5 years minimum). Apart from your strong commercial skills you possess excellent communicative competencies both in Russian and English, with knowledge of German being an additional plus.
As a person you are business minded, target driven and ambitious with an excellent ability to establish and maintain team and customer relations. You should be well structured, analytical, yet outgoing and pro-active with a positive and service minded attitude.
